Hangar 24 Redlands is giving local Oktoberfest fans a full Saturday to raise a stein.

The brewery’s ticketed celebration is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, from 11 a.m. until late evening.

According to the official event page, the day combines live music, traditional German games, German-inspired food and a limited-release Oktoberfest lager.

The food lineup includes giant soft pretzels, bratwurst, German potato salad, braised red cabbage and apple strudel.

That makes this more than a quick beer stop.

The all-day format is designed for people to settle in, eat, listen to music and participate in the festivities.

Oktoberfest mugs are expected to be available while supplies last.

The event lands on an unusually active Redlands weekend that also includes theater and fall activities.

Hangar 24 can easily serve as the afternoon or evening anchor for an October 10 itinerary.

Checking ticket availability before heading over is important because the brewery says tickets are limited.

Visitors should also plan transportation responsibly if they intend to drink.

For Redlands, the appeal is a familiar local brewery, a recognizable fall tradition and a full day built around food, music and community.
