Kimberly Crest: A Redlands Landmark Worth Exploring This Fall |
The historic château and gardens offer public grounds, house tours and a distinctive window into Redlands history |

Some Redlands landmarks are easy to drive past for years without ever really exploring them, and Kimberly Crest House & Gardens deserves better than that.
The French château-style home at 1325 Prospect Drive is both a National Register property and a California Historical Landmark.
The grounds are open to the public on most days, while access inside the house is offered through small-group ticketed tours.
The gardens are part of the attraction, not simply scenery around the house.
Visitors can slow down, explore the landscape and appreciate how the estate fits into Redlands’ broader architectural character.

Kimberly Crest also schedules special events and historic garden tours throughout the year.
Fall can make walking the grounds more comfortable than the hottest part of summer.
The organization’s ticket page lists current house tours, garden tours and special programs.
Pets are not allowed on site, although service animals are permitted.
The best visit leaves enough time for the grounds instead of treating the house tour as the entire experience.
For longtime residents, Kimberly Crest is a reminder that some of Redlands’ strongest attractions are the places locals postpone visiting. |
